The Migelane Departmental Forest is largely used for wood production. This former wet heathland is home to a varied natural heritage.
The nature of the soil, the plant formations and the presence of wetlands allow the development of numerous animal and plant species.
The different routes allow you to enter the intimacy of the Migelane forest, promising secrets and beautiful encounters along the way, in particular with the Montesquieu oak under which the writer is said to have rested.
The little loop of the Migelane forest weaves its way sensitively through the knowledge of shrubs and different species of trees: the bourdaine, the maritime pine, the pedunculate oak, the birch, the willow and the holly...
