Forêt de Migelane - La balade forestière

The Migelane Departmental Forest is mainly used for wood production. This former wet heathland is home to a varied natural heritage.
The nature of the soil, the plant formations and the presence of wetlands allow the development of numerous animal and plant species.
The different routes allow you to enter the intimacy of the Migelane forest, promising secrets and beautiful encounters along the way, in particular with the Montesquieu oak under which the writer is said to have rested.
The forest walk opens onto patches of young pine trees and the evocation of fauna and flora, and sometimes approaches a stream if you are looking for coolness in the heart of summer.
