Eglise Notre-Dame de Martillac
The Romanesque church of Sainte Quitterie, dedicated to Our Lady, was built around the 11th century and may have been built on the foundations of a Roman temple dedicated to Mars. On the mound overlooking the village, only the apse and the two apsidioles have survived. The choir is pure Romanesque and the capitals on the outside are remarkable for their chiselling. Its neo-Gothic bell tower with spire was built in 1880.
